Chipsets include two AK4490EQ chips, each with two built-in DACs, delivering two DACs in parallel for each channel. Several ultra-low noise power regulators provide them with clean power, helping improve audio fidelity. Even if you're playing music through a laptop, the DX150 is useful as it can double as a USB DAC with its XU208 USB chipset.
