Designed to fit most standard doors, the Nest x Yale Lock supports door thicknesses of 1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches and backsets up to 2-3/4 inches. It works with wood, metal, or fiberglass doors of any size but is not compatible with glass, sliding, mortise, or multi-point locks. Installation typically takes 30 minutes with basic tools, guided by the Nest app. For multiple locks, one Nest Connect may suffice, though additional units may be needed for doors farther apart.
