The title sends players on a mission to conquer ancient China, both strategically and with the sword. In powerful siege battles, generals can send their troops to conquer important strategic targets, such as fortresses. Players experience high-risk battles for key points on the battlefield, which they can conquer using fire attacks, stratagems, siege weapons and sometimes simply by executing the given strategies by the commanders, who order their own troops to attack.
